Excellent Guitar Crafting
As a Dreadnought guitar, the Cole Clark Fat Lady 2 boasts a powerful performance with a broad range of tones and is great for for solo acts or as part of a band.
The Cole Clark Fat Lady 2 also features a beautifully curved cutaway to the body, providing easy access to the upper frets which is great for solos.
Australian Blackwood is used for the top, back and sides of the Cole Clark Fat Lady 2, giving you beautifully clear and balanced tone similar that of koa.
Being solid wood, the Australian Blackwood not only sounds great from the beginning will get better with age, delivering richer more resonant tone over time.
Attached to the body is a Queensland Maple neck that is topped with a She Oak fretboard providing tonal traits placing it somewhere between Rosewood and Ebony.
Cole Clark 3-Way Pickup System
Allowing you to plug-in, play live and sound great, the Cole Clark Fat Lady 2 features the innovative Cole Clark 3-way pickup system.
Individually placed pieo elements under the saddle along with a sensor that tracks the movement of the top combine with a built-in condenser microphone in order to separately capture the low-end, mid range and higher frequency tones the Fat Lady 2 produces.
The preamp also gives you a range of controls to adjust your sound to perfection.
You can individually adjust the treble, mid and bass in your tone and set the balance between the piezo and "face" sensor.
There's also a separate knob for adjusting the condenser microphone level so you can really customise your output.
Lastly, a simple volume control allows you to adjust the overall output level.
Other Great Features
GraphTech TUSQ is used for the nut and saddle on the Cole Clark Fat Lady 2, with this modern material being made under high pressure and temperature giving you fantastic consistency and improved sustain.
Up on the headstock, you'll find Grover machine heads which are well known for their precise and secure tuning.
Giving you the perfect protection for your new Cole Clark guitar, the Fat Lady 2 comes to you in a tweed Cole Clark Hardcase; perfect on the road or for storing at home.
A separate pickguard is also included in the case so you can choose whether or not to have it installed on the Cole Clark Fat Lady 2.
