The SRS Model S60 is an entry level team-built Maton, one of few models which does not feature their proprietary AP5 electronics. Yet the S60 is a great value if you are considering your first Maton guitar.
Maton has made significant enhancements to the neck design, bracing patterns, and overall construction of their acoustic guitars, yielding remarkable outcomes.
These improvements in production methods have enabled the creation of all-solid timber guitars more efficiently than ever before, resulting in astonishing playability and tonal advantages. These guitars now boast backs and tops that resonate with greater freedom, delivering an expansive dynamic range. The refined neck/body geometry provides a delightful playing experience, making it easier to master challenging chord shapes and intricate single-note runs. Additionally, the increased tonal response enhances the guitar's acoustic projection.
Furthermore, the inclusion of a bone nut and saddle ensures maximum tone and sustain. The S60 model is meticulously finished with Maton's finely tuned Satin pre-catalyzed Nitro finish.
