This lightweight little amp head packs a hell of a punch, and comes complete with a whole host of fun features for you to sink your teeth into, including a pristine overdrive circuit, three-button tone voicing, an effects loop chain, and even a headphone output for those home practice sessions.
Overdrive Circuit
At the flick of a switch you can take your Fender Rumble 200's crystal-clear clean tone and add some rich, gritty and agressive overdrive into the mix. This circuit is activated via footswitch (available separately) or by simply pressing the Overdrive button on the amp's front panel.
Three-Button Tone Voicing
The Fender Rumble 200 gives you the option of tailoring your sound with three "tone-voicing" switches. First there's the "Bright" switch, giving you a high-end-boost to help you cut through the mix when you're playing something melodic. Then there's the "Contour" switch, which scoops out your mids for a nice, unique tone. And finally, there's the "Vintage" switch, that helps the Rumble 200 emulate an old-school tube sound, giving your bass a rich, powerful and responsive tone.
Magnetic Locking System
Once you've bought yourself a Fender Rumble 200 (and trust me: you'll thank me when you do) you can quite easily match it up with a Fender Rumble bass speaker cabinet (such as the Rumble 410). Simply place the Rumble 200 Head in place on top of the speaker, matching the speaker's foot cups with the head's feet, and the built in magnets will lock the head into place, ensuring that you (or anyone else) won't knock the amp off the speaker by accident during an energetic show or rehearsal!
Other Features
In addition to all of that, the Fender Rumble 200 also features an XLR Line output (allowing you to run the amp directly into a mixing desk in a studio or live setting), an effects loop with "Send" and "Return" sockets, Headphone Output for when you want to practice at home without frightening the cat, a padded tote bag for easy transportation, and (best of all) an impressively affordable asking price!
