Sound Enhancing Digital Signal Processing
The Boss SYB-5 bass pedal comes equipped with 11 DSP variations of saw, square and pulse synth waves, giving you a wide variety of synth sounds to work with.
You can even adjust the sounds with envelope and LFO changes for further experimentation and tailoring of your sonic output.
Each of these synth sounds have been refined and enhanced so that they produce fatter and more cutting sound than ever before.
Proving that big things can come in small packages; despite being house in a pedalboard friendly compact chassis, the Boss SYB-5 produces huge, bass-filled synth.
Enhanced Expression with External Control
A series of controls and modes are available to you allowing you to sculpt your tone and get the right sound for your requirements.

What’s more; when using Modes 1 – 9, you can hold down the SYB-5’s pedal to hold the current note while you play a phrase over it – perfect for bringing in a bass solo without losing that solid foundation in the sound.
Another great feature of the Boss SYB-5 Bass Synthesizer pedal is the external pedal input jack which allows you to connect an expression pedal.
Using an expression pedal, you can control filter cut off and LFO rate in real time for great performance dynamics.
