The Blackstar Unity Bass 30 Watt Bass Combo is extremely versatile, and features sounds benchmarked upon the most iconic bass sounds in music. Thanks to Blackstar's unique Response control, you have the choice between the sound and feel of 3 different power amp stages which allow you to shape the compression, the natural drivce and dynamics of the amp. This means you can enjoy sounds that go from valve driven crunchy tones to high-headroom cleans at the turn of a dial. This ensures your amplifier is versatile and able to handle an almost unlimited palette of sonic genres. Whether you want smooth, low end thump to all out crunch - this Blackstar Unity Bass 30 Watt Bass Combo can do it all.
Three distinct preamp voicings working in unison with a 4-band semi-parametric EQ provide players with exceptional feel which you might find surprising from such a portable amplifier. Combine all this with a Drive Section with 3 overdrives (Overdrive / Distortion / Fuzz) with user-controllable blend and you're unstoppable!

The Blackstar Unity Bass 30 Watt Bass Combo is ideal for those in need of a portable bass amplifier for the stage and studio. But don't be fooled by its modest size, this thing is a world of tone and power ready to be unleashed on stage, in rehearsal or in the studio.
The Blackstar Unity Bass 30 Watt Bass Combo features a custom designed 8" speaker which is more than capabale of pushing some serious air around - you'll feel this on stage. But should you want to expand your sound you can link the bass amp to the new Unity 250ACT powered cabinet, which instantly adds 250W or more of active power to your rig, taking your sound up to stadium worthy levels.
Effects and gig friendly features
In addition to the already amazing sounds on offer within the Blackstar Unity Bass 30 Watt Bass Combo, you have the ability to activate on-board Chorus and Distortion effects via an optional foot pedal. But wait, there's more - if you feel like bringing a bit of doom rock to the gig, you'll certainly enjoy the fact you can dial in a sub-octave effect too.
The amplifier also features a pad switch for active/ passive instruments as well as an MP3 / Line in for jamming along to your favourite songs or backing tracks as well as an XLR + 1/4" Line Out / Headphones out with independent level control for direct recording and DI connection and for silent practice.
