A must-have tool for professional bass players - delivers the tone-shaping abilities of the Little Mark Vintage Head into a pedalboard-friendly format!
Can Satisfy All Of Your Bass Tone-Shaping Needs
The Mark Bass Mark Vintage Pre Pedal builds upon the success and popularity of the aforementioned Little Mark Vintage Head, in the shape of a new valve-powered Preamp pedal with True Bypass circuitry and plenty of sound-shaping options to wet your appetite.
Mark Bass Mark Vintage Pre Pedal Highlights
- Premium-quality preamp pedal, designed specifically for bass guitar
- Delivers a very wide palette of tonal options, from modern to vintage and much besides
- 4-band EQ and 3-way voicing switch, along with two different types of bass distortion
- Blend control allows you to choose how much of your clean bass signal is blended in with the distorion
- Digital outputs make it perfect for recording bassists
- Delviers pro-quality sound, whether you're in the studio or live on stage
A Wide Range of Tonal Possibilities
Whilst the inclusion of a single 12AX7 preamp valve delivers the kind of harmonic, rich, warm tone that you'd expect from a vintage-style amplifier, this pedal also features a huge range of tone-shaping options, - from modern, to vintage, and everything inbetween.
Amongst these controls you will find a 4-band EQ section, each part of which has been tuned to offer a balanced tone which cuts through the mix.
In addition to this a 3-way switch gives you access to EQ preset options for quick and easy access to a Flat setting, Cut (scooped mids), and Old (schooped highs).
Two Unique Distortion Circuits
To compliment the tone-shaping options this pedal presents you with, there's also two distinct, footswitchable distortion circuits you can activate, taking you from crunchy overdrive to aggressive distortion.
Not only that, but the Blend control pot will allow you to mix your overdrive signal with the clean signal of the preamp, ensuring that there's no loss of low frequencies when you get down and dirty.
As if that wasn't enough, there's even a Boost switch that can give you an extra +6dB of headroom at the flick of a switch, for when you really need to stand out.
Versatile Connectivity Options
Thanks to the vast array of connections on this pedal, it is much more than a simple bass preamp - for starters, the Balanced DI Out is a real DI box with transformer, for when you need a full, rich sound transporting to your mixer.
In addition to this, the inclusion of RCA and Toslink digital outputs - as suggested by legendary bassist Marcus Miller - helps make the Mark Vintage Pre the ideal studio tool for recording bassists.
As if that wasn't enough, you'll also find a buffered FX loop, Aux IN socket, and Headphone Out socker, making it the perfect home practice, studio recording, or live performance tool.
