In contrast to the popular Hofner Contemporary series, the Ignition lineup basses feature a classic hollow body design, which adds a natural resonance to its voice when played.

- Violin-style electric bass
- Classic Early 60s design, with pickups at the Neck and Middle positions
- Inspired by Paul McCartney's famous "Cavern" bass of 1961
- Hollow body design, with Flame Maple back and sides and a Sitka Spruce top

- Sleek 3-piece Maple/Beech/Maple neck, capped with a Rosewood fingerboard
- Two Hofner Ignition "Staple" pickups, with classic control set
Hollow Body Bass Guitar
The back and sides are created from Flame Maple, whilst the top piece is Spruce - just like its 1960s forebears - and the whole thing has been given a stylish Sunburst finish for good measure.
In addition to this, the scale length of the bass is 30" - shorter than the more traditional bass size of 34" - offering a more comfortable playing experience, alongside a deeper, rounder bass sound.
Vintage-Style Appointments
To complete the vintage experience, this bass features appointments such as a wooden sadle, vintage-sounding "Staple" pickups, a trapeze tailpiece, and even the classic 3-switch electronics panel

If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
