Impressively robust in comparison to other Mylar alternatives, the capsule's 3 micron-thick, gold-coated, PEN diaphragm offers a premium performance straight out of the box.
Condensed yet Mighty
Offering a smooth yet natural recording quality, the Austrian Audio CC8 has been articulately crafted to avoid any harsh and spiky sounds even at extreme volumes. With slick mids and highs. Experience the ideal recording sound whilst tracking jazz formations, brass, orchestral percussion and much more.
With a compact scale, the CC8 can be positioned into even some of the tightest and difficult places, making it a must-have for live shows and large recording sessions.
Switchable Adaptability
Boasting a built-in switchable attenuation, the small-diaphragm mic can be placed close to loud sound sources without having to worry about peaking levels. Not only that but the switchable high-pass filter diminishes both rumble and impact noise with absolute simplicity.
