Each and every component in these guitars is meticulously chosen, designed and constructed to offer the ultimate classical playing experience.
Looks and Sounds Classical, with Steel String Playability
With the Alvarez CC7HCEAR you're presented with Classical Hybrid guitar, with lower bout cutaway and comfortable armrest, with a Solid A+ Sitka Spruce top, and Dark Walnut back and sides. This guitar has been lovingly crafted in Andalusia: birthplace of the modern Classical guitar (originally designed in the 19th Century by Antonio de Torres Jurado).
What's a Concert Classical Hybrid?
The term "Hybrid" refers to the meeting of two renowed guitar types - in this case we have a combination of the best aspects from both a Concert-style and Classical acoustic. This results in a guitar that looks and sounds just like a traditional Classical instrument, but with it's thinner neck, 14th fret neck joint and radiused fingerboard, actually offers a more modern acoustic guitar feel.
Modern Construction Techniques
Featuring a more lightweight soundbox, and a topwood fitted with a treble bar and custom bracing system cut and sanded with 4 varying widths laid out in reference to Jose Ramirez III's asymmetric architecture designs, this guitar produces a beautiful voice with bell-like trebles and a very open, clear and strong bass response. The bracing system also allows the guitar's Sitka Spruce top to resonate more freely than standard bracing would, making the guitar much more touch responsive and ideal for fingerstyle players.
Premium Grade Electronics
Complimenting the natural sound of the tonewoods is a fantastic LR Baggs Element pickup and StagePro EQ preamp system. These two come together to help accurately recreate your guitar's natural sound for amplification via an acoustic amp or PA system.
