For the top of the AP70E, Alvarez have used solid A+ Sitka Spruce because of its broad range and versatility.
Furthermore; being a solid top, it gives you great, resonant tone that will only improve with age.
Walnut back and sides enhance your tone with more pronounced bass and bright trebles while its dark colouring adds an extra aesthetic to this gorgeous electro-acoustic guitar.
All In The Detail
A Mahogany neck is attached to the body and features a smooth playing Pau Ferro fretboard. Abalone and Mother of Pearl inlays guide the way while adding an extra touch of class.
ABS ivory body binding strengthens the Alvarez AP70EW's build while also enhancing its great looks.
FST2 bracing increases volume while improving resonance with its forward shifted bracing pattern allowing the Spruce top more movement.
The bracing and tone bars are also scalloped, further increasing potential movement of the soundboard for even better sound.
The headstock features a set of premium tuning machines providing precise and secure tuning of your strings.
The nut and saddle are made from real bone for a increased sustain and organic character in your tone.

LR Baggs electronics allow you to take to the stage with the Alvarez AP70WE electro-acoustic parlour guitar and sound fantastic.
A Stage Pro preamp gives you a number of controls, including a 3-band equaliser, to make sure you have the perfect sound at all time.
Within the AP70WE is an Element pickup which tracks the movement of the soundboard.
In contrast to standard acoustic pickups which only capture the string vibration and give you lifeless tone, the LR Baggs Element pickup is able to give you the true sound of your guitar's body.
