Each of the tonewoods has been specially cured, each component carefully designed, and even the painting, sanding and polishing techniques used represent the pinnacle of Alvarez's research and development capabilities.
Exquisite Tonewood Choices
The Alvarez AP70E is constructed with a Solid Sitka Spruce top and a Rosewood back and sides. Sitka Spruce is one of the most commonly used tonewoods for acoustic guitar tops, and helps generate a broad dynamic range, acommodating numerous play styles, whether you want to go with all-out aggressive strumming or light-fingerpicking.
As one of the most popular and musically rich tonewoods, Rosewood offers a sweeping frequency range at both ends of the tonal spectrum. This wood sounds deeper in the low ends and brighter at the top ends that other woods can manage. This iconic wood is incredibly versatile, and when partnered with Solid Spruce can produce a harmonically rich voice, with a bright and sparkling top end.
Premium Electronics
Complimenting the natural sound of the tonewoods is a fantastic LR Baggs Element pickup and StagePro EQ preamp system. These two come together to help accurately recreate your guitar's natural sound for amplification via an acoustic amp or PA system.
