Solid, selected Black Walnut has been used for the top of the Alvarez AGW77CEARSHB, giving you beautifully rich tone to match its dark grain.
The Black Walnut motif has continued through to the Alvarez AGW77CEAR's back and sides offering that same, striking appearance.
With this guitar having a solid top, the Alvarez AGW77CEARSHB produces superior tone that improves as the wood ages.
Flame Maple binding has been used to strengthen the Alvarez AGW77CEARSHB's build while adding to the guitar's unique aesthetic.

FST2 bracing is used within the Alvarez AGW77CEARSHB which allows for increased soundboard movement due to a variety of factors.
First, the x-style bracing is closer to the soundhole and has, along with the asymmetrical tone bars, been scalloped.
