For the back and sides, Alvarez have opted for Dark Walnut, adding visual depth while enhancing the rich sound even further.
Furthermore, with the guitar having a solid top, it produces superior tone that improves as the wood ages.
Flame Maple binding has been used to strengthen the Alvarez AGW77AR's build while adding to the guitar's unique aesthetic.

The Alvarez AGW77AR is equipped with a bi-level Pau Ferro fretboard.
The stepped design of this bridge results in improved string break angle over the saddle, therefore giving you better tone and more volume.
Bone was the material of choice for the nut and saddle as it increases sustain while adding a bright, organic quality to your tone.
FST2 bracing is used within the Alvarez AGW77AR which allows for increased soundboard movement due to a variety of factors.
First, the x-style bracing is closer to the soundhole and has, along with the asymmetrical tone bars, been scalloped.
As a result, you get beautifully rich and resonant tone with increased volume.
