Macassar Ebony has been used for the back and sides of the Alvarez ADE90CEAR with its unique grain adding fantastic aesthetics while your tone is enriched with uniquely warm yet bright character.
Alvarez's MST1 bracing system is used within the Alvarez ADE90CEAR, featuring middle shifted, tapered X bracing and asymmetric tone bars.
The product of in-depth research and development, this bracing system gives you beautifully resonant tone, fantastic response and powerful low end.
Attached to the body is a Mahogany neck with a 50/50 semi-gloss finish for smooth and comfortable playability.
A cutaway to the body provides easy access to the upper frets of the Pau Ferro fretboard, for modern playability that's great for solos.
A bevelled armrest has been crafted into the body of the Alvarez ADE90CEAR, giving you greater playing comfort; perfect for extended playing sessions.
LR Baggs Electronics
While most acoustic pickups can leave your guitar sounding lifeless when its plugged in, the Alvarez ADE90CEAR most certainly does not have that problem.
Fitted with an LR Baggs Element pickup, the movement of the Alvarez ADE90CEAR's soundboard is tracked. As a result, the full sound of your guitar's wood and the work gone into building it can be heard.
Furthermore, the LR Baggs StagePro EQ has a number of controls so you can get the perfect sound for each and every performance.
High Quality Hardware
The Alvarez ADE90CEAR features a bi-level Pau Ferro bridge for efficient transfer of string energy to the resonating solid AA Sitka Spruce top.
Furthermore, the unique bi-level design of the bridge provides improved string break angle over the saddle which gives you better tone and more volume.
Real bone has been used for the nut and saddle so you get increased sustain and natural sounding, bright tone.
Up on the headstock, you'll find premium die cast tuning machines providing precise and secure tuning of your strings.
