Engineered specifically to enable the modern drummer to utilise a complex range of K sounds in a contemporary musical setting, the K Custom Special Dry range from Zildjian could well be the cymbals that everybody wants in their band before long. Drawing from the essence of the famous K Zildjian range, these cymbals have been crafted with the traditional K hammering technique combined with several other, more modern methods, with the resultant voice being as dark, rich and dry as you could want.
A powerful expression of personality
As part of that range, the new Zildjian K1428 22 K Custom Special Dry Crash features a low pitched, dry and funky sound with a short sustain that packs plenty of dirt. A wonderful reimagining of the original K Custom Special Dry cymbals, this range has been skilfully crafted to be extra thin to thin in weight, and with today's modern musical styles in mind. Recommended for modern jazz, country or medium rock settings, these cymbals would feel just as much at home playing anything from Gospel to Techno and everything inbetween.
