The Zildjian 22" Constantinople Ride Medium Thin Ride is medium-thin in weight and boasts a dark, crisp, and high-pitched tone, the traditional hand-lathed construction delivers a natural tonality and is great for fast patterns and big grooves.
Skilled artisans hand lathe these rides, not one ride is the same as the next, pitch-wise yes but tones are unique and super buttery, the feel and touch are something special and take you back to the old K's from the 50s and 60s
In Use
Fast cymbal patterns are very prominent due to the lathing style and feel very responsive with a great rebound. These cymbals move to be medium thin but it doesn't take much effort to get what you want out of them.
The 'Wash' that is ready in waiting in abundance is quite a breath taking when you crash and open up this ride, still very easy to control, and choaking this ride only needs the gentlest of touches/holds/grabs
A pocket buster but if you are taking this art seriously then you should be investing in serious gear, see it as purchasing an investment, this range will only ever gain in value.
