The Yamaha FS800 is ideal for beginners or musicians that are new to the acoustic guitar, the shallower design of the body of the guitar allows a more comfortable positioning of play and the lightweight materials will allow learners to have a better posture during play. The new scalloped design of bracing also improves the overall projection and sound.
The new Yamaha FS800 in Sandburst has been created speficially with beginners in mind.
A new feature in the FS800 Series is the scalloped X bracing, which naturally gives the guitar more volume, projection, tone and bass. The new bracing pattern also moves the resonant centre much closer to the middle of the guitar, giving the player a big impact on both the tone and the feel of the guitar so you can really feel connected to the music.
Another new feature is a solid top board with a 0.25mm thin finish. The solid spruce top provides the guitar with great tone and superior wood protection too. The thin neck profile is very comfortable, and the construction of the thin back and sides ensure maximum volume and resonance with long-term stability. The FS models have a shallower body (90-110mm) than the 700 series, which is a benefactial feature for beginners as it will aid them when learning to play the guitar.
