The Yamaha BB P35 5-String Bass Guitar is a part of Yamaha's professional line of basses, delivering the best designs the BB engineers can offer. Its unique alder/maple/alder body, combined to the neck with a 6-bolt miter joint, improves the transfer of vibrations from the strings to the body for an enhanced sustain. A special 'diagonal through-body stringing' is also included to help improve the overall sustain and resonance.
Its slim maple/mahogany neck , paired with a rosewood fingerboard, provides you with an incredibly comfortable performance, while enhancing the guitar's natural brightness. A set of powerful custom V7 pickups provide the Yamaha BB with its luscious range of vintage bass tones, creating an organic and well-defined sound to suit a wide range of musical styles. 6-bolt Miter Neck Joint
Miter bolting holds the neck closer and tighter to the body fusing these two separate components into one. Compared to a conventional bolt-on joint, miter bolting offers more efficient transfer of string vibration throughout the body, for improved sustain and outstanding resonance that brings every note to life.

The BB P35's body has been constructed from a unique blend of maple and alder, which increases the overall stiffness for an accentuated midrange to cut through dense mixes. The dense maple centre provides a more uniform transmission of vibrations between the body and neck than traditional 1-piece bodies, delivering an unparalleled resonance and sustain. The alder top and bottom provides the bass with a lusciously smooth, deep bass tone, beefing up the midrange while adding a slight sizzle to the high end.
