The Yamaha BB 434 Electric Bass, seen here with a Tobacco Brown Sunburst finish, is a superb tribute to the popular BroadBass instruments of the 70s and 80s.
Featuring a dual-cutaway solid Alder body, slim-profiled 5-piece neck, super-secure 6-bolt Miter neck joint, and versatile pickup options, this is the kind of instrument any pro bass player would be proud to call their own.

Rock-Solid Construction
In addition to the lightweight and resonant Solid Alder body, this awesome bass features a 5-piece Maple/Mahogany neck with a new, slightly thinner shape than the original BroadBass was equipped with.
Not only that, but the neck sports a 6-bolt Miter joint, which holds it closer and tighter to the body than a standard bolt-on joint would.
The end result is a superb bass that features the kind of playability, reliability, and natural tone than modern bass players crave.
Super Reliable Hardware
For the 400-series models, Yamaha BB basses are equipped with a Vintage Plus Light bridge which features "Diagonal Body Thru Stringing".
This particular stringing method reduces string stress, whilst actively increasing string vibration transferrence, for more reliability and efficiency.
Powerful And Articulate Pickups
Finally, the voice on this awesome electric bass is available courtesy of a powerful set of Custom V5 pickups - a Split Coil at the Middle position, and a Single Coil at the Bridge, both of which feature Alnico V magnets.
This particular configuration is ideal for the modern player who demands a combination of power and articulation, and likes to play through a wide range of different musical genres.
Not only that, but thanks to the two Volume and single master Tone controls, you can dial in your perfect voice that will help you cut through any mix with ease.
