Absolute Hybrid Series 8x7" Tom Features
- Hybrid Maple Shell: Incorporates a core ply of wenge, a dense wood from Africa, between plies of maple. Provides a rich and clear tone across all dynamic levels, from soft to loud.
- Hook Lug: Enables quick and precise head replacement and tuning. Designed with a small footprint to maximize tone output from the hybrid shell.
- YESS III Tom Mount: Evolutionary improvement over YESS II, reducing acoustic dampening. Allows the shell to vibrate more freely, enhancing natural sustain and volume.
- Low-Mass Tom Holder Base: Lightweight design and small footprint promote bass drum shell vibration.
- Optimized Bearing Edge: Different edge angles on bass drum, tom, and snare shells for tonal balance. 45º/R1.5 edge on snare and toms for balanced tone; 30º/R1.5 edge on bass drum for deeper, powerful sound.
