XLN Audio Addictive Drums Vintage Dry ADpak

For many producers out there, you just can't get any better than those fat, dry, and crisp drum sounds prevelant in songs from the 1970s. These drums formed the solid backbeat of the best artists and songs to come out of the era, and in more recent times the sound has seen a revival, being used by artists such as Daft Punk and Miike Snow.

Now, thanks to XLN Audio, you can make use of this delicious drum sound courtesy of the Vintage Dry ADpak expansion for Addictive Drums 2!

That 70's Drum Sound delivered with absolute authenticity

The samples in the Vintage Dry ADpak were recorded at Studio INGRID, a recording studio renowned for their love of vintage sound recreation. The studio's 1968 Ludwig Silver Sparkle kit had been specially modified using authentic 70s methods (such as stuffing a pillow and sheet of felt into the kick drum, tuning and dampening the whole kit accordingly etc.), and to ensure absolute sonic authenticity, only 1960s and 1970s microphones were used.

This package comes complete with 30 mix-ready, professional grade presets that give you access to a wide variety of sounds ranging from early 70s folk to those punch late 70s disco grooves. Use Addictive Drums 2 to create your own presets, or even edit the pre-existing ones, letting you choose the perfect sound for your production.

Please note that this software package comes as a phsyical item, and not a digital download, so you'll need to allow a few days for delivery once ordered.
