The Vic Firth Snappy 14” 26 Strand Snare Wires are the result of a partnership with Canopus drums who make premium Japanese snare wires.

Vic Firth has teamed up with Japanese drum builders Canopus to offer a new range of snare wires.
Made from premium Japanese steel, these vintage snappy snare wires have narrower than standard bronze end plates. This makes them extremely versatile for use with both modern and vintage snares.
Intended to “snap” at all dynamic levels without choking your snare drum, these wires were designed to provide you with a fuller snare sound with more tone. So whether you’re playing quiet rolls that require lots of sensitivity or are rocking out with your hardest hits, these snappy wires ensure they meet your needs no matter what the circumstance.
Available in 2 configuratons 20-strand for standard depth drums and 26-strand for increased snare sensitivity or deeper shells.

Returns
