Vater has introduced an innovative range of new sticks that guarantee increased durability and no breakage due to wear in the rimshot area. This extremely robust series features two distinct new features that reduce common wear and tear in the usual areas of your drumsticks. If you're tired of weak sticks that keep breaking, the Vater Extended Play sticks provide a durable, long-term solution and an attractive pair of sticks that you can be proud of.
The Vater Extended Play Series has two unique features that address common wear and tear issues on player's drumsticks. One of those features is a pearl-coloured, specially formulated finish that protects the tip and shoulder of the stick to slow down the early chipping and cracking process. The second feature is Vater's exclusive 3 inch Stick Shield. Located in the rimshot area, this highly impact resistant material is 8x stronger than steel with maximum tensile strength, giving you incredible durability in the rim shot area.
Despite the enhanced durability and new design, the Vater sticks still have the classic Vater stick-feel finish in the grip area. This provides the perfect balance and feel of a Vater hickory stick with the advanced durability and resistance to breakage that defines the Extended Play Series,this model also includes an extra 0.5''
