The Vater Classics 5B Wood Tip Drumsticks feature a grip that is a little smaller than the popular Vater 5b to deliver a versatile sound and comfortable playing feel.
Slimmer 5B
Utilising the original specifications and profile used in the first production of the Vater 5B drumstick, the Vater Classics 5B has a slightly undersized grip than the standard 5B.
Featuring 6 core models integral to the Vater drumsticks line, the Vater Classics series maintains the original specs used to create the hand-turned sticks made at the start of the Vater journey.
Each made from hickory, the Classics sticks are available in 7a, 5a, 5b, 2b, 8d jazz and Big Band versions in either a wood or nylon tip model.

The Vater Classics 5B stick features a standard 16" length combined with a slightly thinner .595" diameter.
In keeping with the original specifications used in the first production of these sticks in the 1950s and 60s, the Classics 5b offers a slimmer, comfortable playing feel.
A versatile choice for many musical applications and playing styles, the Vater Classics 5b offers a full playing sound courtesy of its acorn shaped wood tip.
As with all the sticks in the Classics range, these Vater 5B sticks are constructed from hickory to deliver a robust and durable playing response.
