Designed to produce a high quality, extremely pure sound. The Vandoren Traditional Alto Saxophone Reeds have very thin tips (the area of reed with maximum vibration) and are balanced by a solid vertebral column (more cane in the area which climbs gradually to the heel).
The Vandoren traditional reeds feature the thinnest tip with the thickest heart, resulting in crisp articulation with a full, dark sound.
Due to being made from a natural product such as cane Vandoren has professionals from all over the world to play-test their reeds, ensuring that each reed meets with Vandoren's high standards and close to being as identical as the next.

*Please note: We cannot accept returns of microphones, any in-ear earphones, monitors, orchestral instruments with mouthpieces and any other items that touch your mouth, nose or inner ear if you have removed the hygienic packaging.
