The New York Studios Collection is a powerful bundle for professional music producers including Superior Drummer 2.2, SDX Lost New York Studios Vol 2 and SDX New York Studios Vol 3. With these plugins and this software, you have everything you need to create realistic drum tracks in an instant.

This collection combines the award-winning Superior Drummer software with the complete suite of sound libraries in the New York Studios series.

The focus of the series has been to capture the most notable and legendary studios in the New York area: The Hit Factory, Allaire Studios and Avatar Studios. These recording facilities have housed chart-topping artists for decades and are all world-renowned for their unique sonic qualities.

All sounds were recorded by Grammy Award-winning engineer Neil Dorfsman (Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen), Pat Thrall (Katy Perry, Beyoncé) and in demand session drummer Nir Z (Genesis, Chris Cornell).

Since Superior Drummer was first introduced on the market, it has become the indisputable industry standard tool for professional drum production. The sounds from the New York Studios series are used daily in major label studio productions, motion pictures and commercials around the world. Superior Drummer 2

This includes the award-winning software as well as the much praised first volume in the New York series, recorded at the legendary Avatar Studios. These sounds have been used in big budget motion pictures, commercials and major label productions spanning anything from metal to pop. This is a library known for its great versatility. Timeless sounds that never wear out!

SDX Lost New York Studios Vol 2

Volume 2 of the series contains unique sample recordings from two legendary studios: The Hit Factory in New York City and Allaire Studios, located in upstate New York – both of which are now closed. The open, ambient rooms in these studios are known for their unique qualities. They have housed the who´s who in music for decades and many consider them to be among some of the best rooms ever.

SDX New York Studios Vol 3

The third volume comes with a second session recorded at Avatar Studios. It features several vintage and custom kits and is best described as a prequel to the much praised core library. Avatar Studios is known for having one of the world´s finest acoustic environments for recording and has won several industry awards. Since its inception in the 1970s, it´s hosted bands and artists like Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Journey, Kings of Leon and The Clash.

Please note: None of the products in the Superior Line can be downloaded in full. Upon registration, you will get access to a partial download containing a subset of the library purchased, typically the default kit with limited ambience microphones or tools.
