A true testament to American Acoustic Guitar design, this guitar boasts a Top, Back, and Sides crafted from solid Neo-Tropical Mahogany, and is designed to offer a rootsy musical character.
Sonically, this tonewood combination produces a woody midrange with a strong focus on the fundamental note, resulting in a balanced attack and natural compression that's ideal for flat-pickers and strummers.
C-Shape Bracing
For the Grand Theatre body shape, Taylor have developed the all-new C-Class bracing architecture - a cantilevered, asymmetrical design which takes elements for the critically acclaimed V-Class and perfects them for this smaller style guitar.
The end result is increased stability and volume, with impressive levels of sustain and intonation, of the kind which is usually reserved for much more expensive models.
Expression System 2
