Classic Tonewood Pairing
Combining the correct tonewoods is arguably the most important factor in the creation of any acoustic guitar, with the most popular combination over the decades being that of Spruce and Rosewood.
Using Rosewood for the body will see the guitar produce an array of versatile, harmonically rich tones. Regarded by many to be a "tonewood superstar", Rosewood is unfortunately reserved for only the finest of guitars due to preservation fears.
For the top piece, Sitka Spruce is as close to an "Industry Standard" as you will get for an acoustic guitar. This wood combines perfectly with the Rosewood body to produce a responsive guitar, with a broad, dynamic range.
