Superb Tonewoods
To create this guitar, Tanglewood has combined a solid Sitka Spruce soundboard with a back and sides created from Koa - a Hawaiian tonewood, prized for its beautiful woodgrain and well-balanced voice.
As a result the natural voice of this guitar is well-balanced, with each and every note being projected with clarity, making it ideal for flatpickers, fingerstyle players, and strummers alike.
Plug In And Play
For those times when the pure acoustic voice of this guitar isn't quite enough, Tanglewood has equipped it with a powerful Fishman Presys preamp and undersaddle pickup system.
Featuring onboard controls for Bass, Middle, and Treble frequency bands, and even a handy built-in tuner, these electronics allow you to shape your amplified sound accordingly, as well as ensuring you can always ensure you're in tune on the fly.
In addition to this, the pickup and preamp are specially-designed to ensure you get the same crisp and bold natural voice of the guitar amplified to your audience, making it the perfect addition to the TW4VC Koa.
