Exotic Tonewood Choices
In addition to the inclusion of a Spruce top - a popular wood used in my acoustic guitars - the back and sides of the TWJDS are crafted from a combination of Amara Ebony and Spalted Mango.
These two body woods combine to produce a naturally bright and crisp sound, with deep bass, and a broad range of fundamentals - similar to what you'd get with Koa.
In addition to this, the Spruce top piece adds a vibrant, natural projection, with plenty of snap.
