14" x 6.5" All-Kapur Snare
With the Tama SLP Kapur Snare, seen here with a Black Kapur Burst finish, you get a superb drum with an open, lively sound and great projection.
Due to its high levels of articulation and slightly dry voice and enhanced attack, the Tama SLP Kapur is perfect for funk, fusion, and gospel music, but just as adept at pretty much any other style.
Rock-Solid Construction
The shell of this snare is crafted from 6ply/5mm Kapur, a relatively heavy and hard work that's renowned for its fat, dry amd warm sound
Complimenting the shell you'll find a Tama Sound Arc Hoop, which is similar to the famous "stick saver hoops" found on select vintage snare drums. The edges of these hoops bend inward to enhance the natural tone of the drum, resulting in increased sensitivity, precision, and control.
Finally, this snare also comes equipped with a 20-strand Starclassic Carbon Steel snare wire, and redesigned end plates, for that classic Tama snare sound.
