Un-matched for versatility, ease of use and setup time. The Stagg Hi Hat Drop Clutch M8 is fitted with a quick-release mechanism which replaces the standard screw-on threaded nut with a spring-loaded lock.
The spring-loaded lock slips on and off in less than one second, saving you time and making it easy to mount and un-mount your hi-hat cymbals.
The Stagg Hi Hat Drop Clutch M8 functions similarly to a snare drum throw off. Simply hit the clutch with a drumstick to disengage and drop the top cymbal and step on the pedal to return the clutch to its original position.
A Must for those 'double pedallers' out there to keep those hi-hats closed with out your foot having to be on the pedal.
Super easy to install and quick to get used to the action.
