Squier Contemporary Stratocaster
The same fundamental Strat playability and tone, with an added modern twist - the Fender Contemporary Series brings diverse new features to the traditional Stratocaster setup, delivering something different and exciting for the boldest of players.
Kitted out with a triple set of Squier SQR alnico single-coil pickups, these aren't any ordinary strat pickups. Arranged in a 'special' hum-cancelling configuration, the middle pickup and bridge pickup delivers a unique dynamic response that you wouldn't expect from a Strat. Able to deliver the same full-bodied twang, the 'in series' layout adds a super-crispy edge to your playing - perfect for getting that extra not defintion into your playing!
Designed for ultimate stability, the roasted maple neck and its sculpted heel are incredibly toneful and robust, providing exceptional comfort and unhindered fretboard, particularly when reaching for those higher frets. With further high-performance additions such as a 2-point tremolo bridge, a set of sealed-gear tuning machines and stealthy black coloured hardware - this guitar looks absolutely incredible in its Sky Burst Metallic finish and painted headstock to match!
