Classic Stratocaster Features with Great Playability
Poplar has been used for the Stratocaster body with its signature double cutaway shape providing easy access to the upper frets; great for guitar solos.
Attached to the body is a maple neck which has a "C" shape and natural satin finish for smooth and comfortable playability.
The Laurel fretboard has a 12" radius and narrow tall frets for quick, deep and easy bends without fretting out.
A 2-point synchronised tremolo bridge with block saddles has been installed on the Squier Contemporary Stratocaster HSS.
Not only does this bridge allow for dynamic trem performance, it increases tuning stability and sustain while providing perfect intonation.
HSS Pickup Versatility
Unlike your traditional Stratocaster pickup configuration, this Squier Strat is equipped with an HSS set up.
Ceramic single-coil neck and middle pickups are in place, giving you beautifully crisp and clear, dynamically responsive tone.
For the bridge pickup, you have a ceramic humbucker which gives you hot output and powerful tones, perfect for chugging riffs and cutting leads.
A 3-position switch along with Master Volume and Master Tone knobs allow you to easily shape your sound.
Awesome Style
The Pearl White finish of this guitar looks great as it is, especially with the Squier Contemporary Stratocaster HSS's matching painted headstock.
Add to that the 3-ply black pickguard for visual contrast, the black single-cool pickups along with the zebra humbucker and you've got a seriously visually appealing axe.
