Arguably one of the very best levels of value available amongst modern basses, the Squier Affinity Precision Bass PJ combines comfortable feel with a range of classic rock and pop tones.
Featuring a familiar P-Bass Split Coil pickup in the mid position, a punchy J-Bass Single-Coil bridge pickup, a 3-ply Black pickguard, and even a two-colour headstock logo, this looks, plays and feels like a much more expensive instrument.
PJ Pickup Configuration
Famous for their thunderous, no-nonsense tone, the Precision Bass has been a mainstay in popular music even since the early 1950s.
With this Squier Affinity PJ Bass you not only get a Split Coil pickup - the reason for those afore-mentioned pummeling tones - you are also presented with a bright and growling J-Bass style single-coil bridge pickup.
These pickups are controlled via a Master Tone pot and independent Volume pots, allowing you to play just one pickup, or a precise blend of both.
