To enhance flexibility and accommodate stereo sources, the SPL Track One incorporates a link function, enabling stereo compression across two strips. When engaged, the EQ on both units remains entirely independent, providing the user with the ability to craft beautifully wide stereo tracks while retaining individual control over EQ adjustments to fine-tune the stereo image.

With the Track One, achieving a great-sounding vocal or instrument is surprisingly effortless, and instant studio polish is typically just a few tweaks away, right from the start. The DeEsser functionality allows for the taming of sibilance, the built-in compressor optimizes the dynamic range, and the onboard 3-band equalizer adds the finishing touches and sweetens the frequencies.

SPL's proprietary DeEsser design also includes a unique automatic threshold adjustment feature. This kicks in to compensate levels as soon as the vocal technique becomes more energetic or when the distance from the microphone fluctuates, maintaining consistent performance.
