Perfect for Vintage and Modern Rock
The Schecter Standard Series is perfect for vintage and modern rock players. The body of the E-1 Standard is reminiscent of the classic Gibson Explorer style with its jagged edges that are a great aesthetic for hard rock players.
Awesome Rock Aesthetic
The body of the Schecter E-1 Standard is made of Mahogany and has a flat top design. The comfortable ‘C’ shape neck is made of 3-pc Mahogany and features a classic Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid and abalone tempest split crown inlays and creme 1-ply binding with 22 X-Jumbo frets.
The jagged edge design also works to enhance playing with a cutaway on the underside of where the neck joins the body. Due to this extra space the hand can reach the high frets easier which is great for performing wicked solos and adventurous lead guitar melodies.
High-End Hardware, Features and Electronics
Schecter have equipped the E-1 Standard with a Graph Tech XL Ivory TUSQ nut. TUSQ is precision engineered under high heat and pressure to enhance the frequencies that remain in the guitar strings, resulting in fantastic sustain.
A locking Nashville style bridge, the TonePros Model T3BT has been fitted along with a TonePros T1Z Tailpiece.
Rock solid Grover tuners have been installed so you get quick, precise tuning of your strings that holds. Extremely stable tuning... even after a lot of those all-important bends.
Schecter have installed their own Schecter Diamond Alnico Plus pickups in both the bridge and neck positions. These are high quality humbucker style pickups which accurately reproduce your playing style and the tone of your strings while eliminating hum and interference so you get a pure tone.
A volume control, and push-pull tone control with 3-way pickup selector switch allow you to have full control over your tone.
