Rickenbacker 381V69 Semi Acoustic Guitar, Natural Mapleglo

The Rickenbacker 381V69 embodies everything that makes the USA-made 1950's Rickenbacker semi-acoustic guitars so revered around the world today - a hand-carved arch top and back oozes quality and craftsmanship that made these the go-to guitars for The Beatles in the 1960s.

Perfect Replica of a Vintage 1957 Rock and Roll Legend

Employing only premium 'charactered' Maple, model 381V69 has a full bound body with 'checked' binding and extreme double cutaways, along with a bound crescent sound hole to complete this exquisite guitar. The guitar also comes complete with a set of vintage Single Coil "Toaster Top" pickups, providing you with that classic vintage Rickenbacker sound.

Traditional Body

The Rickenbacker 381V69 has been constructed with the classic "Twin Crescent" cutaway shape, and is directly influenced by the company's famous 1957 300 series model. This light-weight, deluxe, semi-hollow dual cutaway design makes for a comfortable playing experience and grants you full access across the whole fretboard range.

Exquisite Electronics

The high-output Single Coil "Toaster Top" pickups are designed to be perfect replicas of the original Toaster Top pickups to provide you with that classic Rickenbacker jangle. In addition to each pickup have it's own Volume & Tone controls, there's a Blend control knob.

This knob has several different functions, such as acting as a tone blender between the pickups and as a general Bass & Treble EQ for the guitar. It's primary function though, is to act as a volume equaliser for the bass pickup, boosting the usually quieter pickup to be of a comparatively equal volume to its treble counterpart.

That Famous "Rick O Sound"

In addition to the excellent pickup circuitry, the 381V69 Model also comes with two output jack sockets: one for the standard "mono" output, and a second labeled "Rick O Sound". This gives you the ability to hook the guitar up to two amps simultaneously, sending a single pickup signal to each, resulting in that famed jangly sound that has been the hallmark of Rickenbacker guitars for more than 50 years!
