The Pormuco 100 Series single pedal is light and responsive with a good heavy-duty spring with a variable adjustable spring tension that locks off with the turn of the upper screw. and this is on both giving a unique feel to the pedal, you can either have both springs attached or just one on either side, the feel is different whether you have the right or left side spring engaged which is an interesting concept and well worth the experimentation.
With a single chain drive the pedal is light under the foot and has a more traditional feel which is something that is coming back into fashion from the yesteryears.
The felt beater that is supplied with the Promuco 100 is sturdy and dense giving you a prominent articulated low-end thwack when struck against the drum, but because of the lightness of the pedal, you can create a lot of dynamic finesse.
A brilliant feature of these types of pedals is the ability to fold it down and throw it into a backpack of hardware case, something that should be a feature for the top-of-the-line pedals on the market!
