Incredible Tonewood Combination
As stated above, this incredible acoustic guitar brings together a Solid Rosewood back and sides, with a Lutz Spruce top piece.
Lutz Spruce is a naturally occurring hybrid of Sitka and White spruce, and offers the best characteristics of both. This results in a naturally strong projection, with plenty of volume, and rich tones.
Indian Rosewood is one of the most popular and traditional guitar woods of all time. With its deep low end, bright highs, and slightly-scooped midrange, Rosewood makes the perfect companion for the Spruce top piece.
12th Fret Join
Whilst most standard-sized acoustic guitars come complete with a 14th fret neck join, whereas this guitar joins the body and neck at the 12th Fret.. This means the strings suffer marginally less tension than with a traditional built, resulting in reduced hand fatigue and easier string bends.
Not only that, but the shifted bridge position offers a remarkably powerful voice that defies all expectations from the smaller body of this guitar.
Onboard Electronics
Due to its unique design, the Taylor ES2 pickup and preamp is the perfect choice for the 712ce 12-fret. This pick up and preamp offers a more dynamic range of sounds, with more articulation than ever before.
