Ultra Playability
The Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass V features an alder body which boasts a specially tapered neck heel to provide unparalleled access to the upper frets.
The rear body contour has also been newly sculpted for the Fender American Ultra edition of the Fender Jazz Bass V. As a result, you can enjoy the most comfortable performance yet.
Attached to the body is a modern "D" profile maple neck. Perfect for any style, this slim, wide shouldered neck is incredibly easy to play.
Furthermore, the back of this neck benefits from a silky smooth Ultra satin finish for added comfort and playability.
A bound Rosewood fretboard is on board the neck. With its 10" - 14" compound radius and ultra rolled edges, no matter where you are on the neck you'll have the perfect grip and playing feel.
Ultra Electronics
To get the best sound possible, specific 5-string Ultra Noiseless pickup had to be created and the results are fantastic.
You will enjoy deep, fat tone with that truly authentic vintage Fender flavour but without any unwanted hum.
Redesigned especially for the new Ultra Noiseless bass pickups, the Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass V's active/passive preamp gives you sweeter highs, more focused mids and more controlled low end.
High Quality Hardware
Fitted to the body of the Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass V is a HiMass bridge that has been specially designed for the Jazz Bass V.
This bridge offers incredible sustain, amazingly accurate intonation and solid tuning stability.
Up on the headstock, you'll find four Fender "F" light-weight tuning machines featuring vintage-paddle keys with tapered shafts.
Not only do these tuners look fantastic but they're incredibly precise and offer rock-solid reliability.
