The Abstract Red is seriously eye catching and of high-quality in its finish you would think the price would be alot more than listed with its Asiatic Pine Hardwood construction but no, this wooden box of delight won't break the bank. as said with its high construction and use of Asiatic Pine in use we are hearing really crisp ultra sensitive sounds for the snare which is due to the fixed spiral-wire type snares on the inside. The front plate offers maximum bass tones while the rear port hole accents the natural low end this it also enables you mic up the cajon in a live situation.
Quick thought: why not try adding a cajon pedal they free up a hand for extra percussion, helps with posture and enables the very much needed finger point
