Exceptional Projection
The Martin BC-16E Acoustic Bass body delivers exceptional projection with its M14 0000-14 Fret sized body.
Constructed out of a Solid Spruce top matched with Solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, this delivers a deep thumping tone, sitting perfectly underneath the mix ideal for performing and resonating the natural Martin bass tone.
This Martin Bass features a cutaway body, for those higher note reaches, giving the bass player a full range across the fretboard easily and quick.
The Select Hardwood neck meets the body at the 17th Fret, being comfortable and quick, easy to fret.
The Ebony fingerboard makes fretting this acoustic bass, quick and comfortable, giving the player confidence when dancing around the neck during a performance.
The neck features a bone nut, at 1.58" width, with black solid hardware for string stability.
Fishman Matrix VT Enhance NT2 Equipped
Installed in this acoustic bass is a Fishman Matrix VT Enhance NT2 Preamp and Pickup, converting those low bass tones and presenting them through a PA or Bass amp without losing any of the natural low-end that this bass produces.
