At first glance, everything about the Martin 00-15E Retro seems to embody everything about a vintage Martin. Sophisticated style, rich tonewoods and a parlor-style '00' body give it a real classy pre-war appeal. Picking the guitar up, however, you'll notice some subtle refinements that make it easily adaptable to a modern playing style. A new modified, low-oval neck profile with Performing Artist taper is wonderful to play, and will keep you coming back for more.
A built-in Fishman Electronics system closely models itself on capturing the nuances of a Retro Martin. A high quality preamp, condenser microphone and 3-band EQ controls all help you to craft beautiful electro-acoustic tone in a live or studio setting.
