Solid Poplar Shells
Arriving with Rock sizes, a huge sounding 22" Bass drum, fitting 10", 12" and 16" Toms, and an sharp 14" Snare, this drum kit packs a percussive punch when performing on stage or in the studio. A popular student level drum kit, the Mapex Special Edition Storm drum kit is built from Poplar with a each shell 7.2mm thick and has the signature Mapex SONIClear bearing edges which leaves the drum head sitting flatter, making better contact with the shell for better tone and easy tuning. All finished in a shining Red wrap, this visual-treat looking kit will stand out on stage or in the studio.
Solid 400 Series Hardware
The solid 400 Series hardware pack features double-braced legs for a firm balance and solid stability, fully adjustable with 3 tiers to make sure your cymbal placement is perfect. The 400 Series hardware features the Mapex concave leg design giving better positioning whatever style of music you’re playing. Included is a T400 drum throne to complete the hardware set up.
Paiste 101 Cymbal Set
The Mapex Limited Edition Storm kit comes with the brass constructed Paiste 101 Cymbal pack. Containing 14" hi-hats, a 16" crash and a 20" ride, this cymbal pack creates a sharp sound to the mix, ideal for any studio or performance set up. Very versatile and solidly constructed this cymbal pack will prove long lasting and reliable for any performing drummer.
