With 100% Birch 6 ply shells this limited edition Mapex kit is coming in at a bargain price bracket. Birch shells bringing you sweet highs and mids while the bigger kick drum and floor tom bring the rumbling thunder. The 22" kick drum features insulated bass drum claws with rubber gaskets to proctect the wooden hoop and its superb finish, this also aids for less rattling during longer sessions. the shell pack comes with a matching snare drum for a classy unified look and it sports one hell of a solid crack on the rim shots, its size alos offers great tuning and musical versatility.
Soniclear bearing edge:This bearing edge is standard across the mapex shells and it has been designed to help the drumhead sit flat against it so there is positive contact between the head and shell. because of the enginuity the result is strong, deep fundamental pitch which we all love and a greater tuning range with less effort
Soniclear Suspension: The tom mount bracket/suspension unit increases the overall resonance by preserving the vibration in the shell and keepin stress away from the tension rods help the toms stay in tune
