The Mars Series "Bop" Shell Pack features a 1 up and 1 down compact set up featuring an 18" kick drum with a massive sound. This is the configuration you need when space is limited and you require response, power and control.
The 100% European Maple emits buttery, classic, and warm maple tone transmitted through beautifully lacquered 7-ply, 7.2mm shells for a sound that will launch your drumming to the next level and will command the attention of your bandmates as they get into your groove.
SONIClear Bearing Edge allows the drumhead to sit flatter and make better contact with the shell. The result is a stronger and deeper fundamental pitch, effortless and consistent tuning, and a significantly expanded tuning range.
The SONIClear tom suspension increases overall resonance by preserving vibration in the shell and keeping stress away from the tension rods, helping the heads stay in tune.

As well as great tone the shells have a lot of attack as you would expect from the slightly shallower depth of the racks and floor tom.
the splendid 14" x 12" Floor Tom is really powerful and boasts sub-like low end with lots of control. The high to low tone spectrum from the 10" to the 14" is dramatic and feel's great both infront and behind the kit.
The punch and power out of the 18" kick drum is surprising considering its smaller stature, the 14" depth helps to get the power through any guitars but still with lots of low end tone and stability.
Snares Up
A snappy crack of a 14" x 5" snare drum comes with the kit, has a slightly shallow depth sizing but is very versatile, with smooth ghost notes and ear-crunching rimshots. It can be cranked or even achieve some beefy low tunings
The rounded Baring edge makes tuning easy and a lot more stable than a sharper baring and because of the skin being in close contact with the shell, the tones are a lot rounder and more powerful than most kits at this price range.
