A new and improved version of the Speed King. The Ludwig Speed King Pedal is perfect for faster styles, such as rock and metal, with its exceptional speed capabilities. The improved beater features traditional speed sizing and an increased weight to provide a faster and more powerful contact onto the bass drum head, providing a faster and louder kick sound. The heel-plate action replaces bushing for smooth action bearings, providing a smoother playing experience to make faster playing a little easier.
Improved cam bearings provide the Ludwig Speed King with a more reliable and smoother direct-drive linkage, making faster playing easier and more comfortable.
