The shells of this Ludwig NeuSonic drum kit feature a cross-over design constructed from 3 interior plies of cherry and 3 exterior plies of maple.
Characterised by its even highs and mid frequencies combined with slightly warm lows, Maple produces a well-rounded all-purpose tone.
Meanwhile, cherry offers boosted highs, a punchy midrange and average low end to prove a bright and sensitive playing sound.
The combination of the two serves to deliver a drum kit tone that’s well represented across the frequencies.
The robust highs and mids of cherry build on the even top and midrange response of maple, while the warmth of maple’s low end fills the lacking lows of the cherry.

The 22 x 16” virgin bass drum also features low mass claw hooks and NeuSonic straight spurs to add sleek style and superb functionality.
The 16 x 16” floor tom features triad leg brackets to ensure minimal contact with the shell to aid resonance.
The 12” x 8” rack tom is also fitted with a resonance aiding triad bracket and comes complete with the PMOO48 tom holder for secure and stable mounting.
