Introduced in 1963, these drums have worked their way up from student practice-snares to professional must-haves. Originally designed to deliver an incredibly dry and easy to contol sound, their unique tonal properties made them the choice of pro drummers globally.
14" x 6.5" Acrolite Snare with Twin Lugs
Owing much of their tonal character to the master designers at Ludwig, the brushed aluminium and chrome shell delivers a superbly dry crack.
Re-introduced in its original splendor, the Acrolite boasts a seamless, beaded, brushed-aluminum shell that is still handcrafted in Monroe, North Carolina, USA to this day.
Complete with chrome Classic dual snare lugs, a P85 strainer and a Blue/Olive Badge - this snare is truly one of the classics and perfect for the drummer looking for that super-dry snap for both the stage and the studio.
